Growing up with dirtbikes in Northern British Columbia, most of our riding was gravel road and trail riding... it didn't occur to us to go slow, and master technical riding. I am marshaling for a local Trials club and just acquired a used Sherco 250ST... I love it so far and I'm looking for technical trials training regimes... if anyone can point me to good sources? Thanks, Jim

Hello everybody, I'm Marc, frenchi (sorry for my bad english), I play solo and sidecar trial. My next project is "triying to develop an efficient and simple side car trial based on my FANTIC 240 prof". Sure I know that 212cc engine will be short to push all together (the motobike, my monkey and me) at the top of high section hills, and I can sacrifying the monkey of course..., but I know that some of you find some other ways to improve their Fantic 240... If you are ok to guide me for my project... Many thanks! Marc

Hi folks, I have done trials competition in the 80's, (from 1981 to 1988). Then I had a "trialsbreak", while studying and working, .... Now will strat again, do have my very first "real or bigger" Trialsbike left, a Yamaha TY 125, still there could not trade it away all the years because ther where to many good memorys together with the bike. As a real trialsplonker I could get my hands on a bultaco Sherpa 340 in pretty original condition. Both bikes I will rebuild to use at vintage trial competitions and just for playing around, (now with an age of 46 I never will get a master of trials somwhere it's not my intentetion to do so). For the Bultaco I have to some repairs…

Hello all, Im new to the world of Trial bikes and just picked up a seized and abused TY250A last week as a project and finally got the cylinder off the engine last night. So much for a quick lick o’ paint and a carb clean, this thing is going to need a lot of parts and labor. Anyway I’m sure I’ll be asking questions and needing help along the way so thanks in advance and talk soon aidan

Hello everybody, thought i would start here as it seems the most logical place. My name is Matt and i live just outside Shrewsbury. I have just come back from a 3yr break away from trials and have just bought myself a really good beta techno. I will be making a few trips to practice grounds and a few abit further away should anyone wish to join me. I cant wait to get back out again on the trials iron. i hope to use this bike for a year or so to get my hand back in and then maybe upgrade again when the time is right. Would love to hear from any other trials riders in the Shropshire area. All the best.......Matt Clarke

What a great site this is ! I've just bought my first trials bike - and its what seems a quite well sorted Bantam. Its going to take some getting used to... as I am a complete novice ! I had a little ride around last night, and my novice status would have been completely apparent ? It's such a different riding position - such high bars and the pegs so far back - it's going to take some getting used to. It felt like the steering is largely done through weighting the legs - and the thing is bigger and heavier than I'd realised. Great fun though ! I only have a tiny space I can practice in at home - a small gravel area outs…

Hi to all, I've used this tremendous source of information regarding trials for many years, a divorce stopped my riding a few years back, but following a move to farm in north Devon, a new to me bike purchase, a desire to have fun and do local trials made me finally sign. If your interested a bought a sherco st290 of 2012 vintage bought purely on condition/price for its age, I've ridden , montesa, scorpa, beta but this is my first sherco, I intend to enjoy riding again.

That was a sad day. My last trial as I was going overseas to work. Hi my name is Dave Raw and I had a great time living to Trial for six years or so.. The good old days of Norman Crooks in Northallerton. I did try to get back into Trialing but with commitments it never worked. I am working in Aberdeen through the week then traveling home for the weekend so little time to start now but I have and always will have the "feet up" blood in my vains. I was told of Trials Central so now I have a home page to visit.. Looks very good also by the way. Dave
