G`day from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. I`m Russ and the owner of an old TL125 K2 and the new owner of a TLM200R ( MD15 ). I`ve just come back to trials bikes after a break of 35yrs ( last had a TL in 1979 living in Sussex ) mostly to get my son interested but also to have fun ! The old TL was restored by an Aussie who had 30 bikes stored under his house and he let me have it pretty cheap, just needed new tyres, carby and rear shocks ( Sammy Miller gas items shipped over ) and now it runs great. My new bike is a 1985 TLM200R and this seems to be a much rarer creature because parts a very thin on the ground. I love this bike but the clutch is on its last legs so will …

Getting a model 199A ready for the season after taking a few years off from trials, so I plan to post some questions in the Bultaco section. This is my 3rd T, the first one I got in 1974 when I was a junior in high school, the second one I rode back around 2006-2008 or so. Most events are through the Mid Atlantic Trials group, that runs most events in PA with some in Ohio, WV, and Maryland.

Hello, My name is Doug and I live in NE Oregon. I've been riding motorcycles and atv's since I was 9 yrs old which is a long time ago since I'm 43 now....lol I got my first trials bike (74 Yamaha TY 250) from a friend last fall when he passed away. I plan on keeping it and possibly restoring it in the near future. It's complete except for the headlight switch assy and a speedometer. As soon as I get spark to the new spark plug I plan on teaching my wife the basics of motorcycle riding so she can get her motorcycles license. I hope to make lots of new friends here on the forum and maybe someday meet some of you to ride together. Doug

Hi Everyone i am based in Droitwich worcestershire and looking to by a bike very soon and if anyone has any advice on bikes (budget will be up to 2k) and places to practice near me i would appreciate it. I have a lot of experience at motocross and enduro and was chairman of an mx club for a while down south but i did have a scorpa 250 a couple of years ago before i moved to Droitwich from Dorset. Looking for something a bit slower now i am older but would really like to eventually join a club and compete in some club trials locally if possible. i look forward to meeting some of you in the future Cheers Andy

Hi everyone. Just a quick intro as I am not much into talking about myself. I currently own a Ducati 1000 and a KTM 525. It has been years since my last Trials bike (TY175). My mum bought if for me when I was around 14 years old and since then I have never been without a bike or two. I am searching for a Trials bike that I can ride on weekends and when time permits, I am in the Defence Force so you could imagine between family and work there isn't a lot of time. I really like the new OSSA which I just finished reading about in the forums here but I also like the Sherco. Sad thing is here in Newcastle bike sales are dominated by MX and road bike sales so it will be a 40…

Hi all from sunny South Africa. I've been riding Enduro since 2012, started off on a Honda CRF250X, moved to a Beta 400RR, then a Husaberg TE300 and now a KTM 250 XC-W. I want to improve my skills at the low speed stuff, so I picked up a very nice and well looked after Beta Evo 290 for the job. Hope to learn a fair bit off the forum

Hi people my trial habit is casual weekend use which is being taken on by my youngest son so we take to the hills round our home in north west scotland , nothing to technical fairly straight forward hill riding , spliced with the maintenance makes for quality time spent with little legs . We ride beta 270 rev 3 and evo 80 , annoyingly his light weight often traverses bogs with ease my technique is more ploughing through it's all good fun .

I took it to a practice track this weekend for the first time, cracking fun but the bike needs sorting properly. Hello to everyone out there. My name is Ash and I hail from the beautiful area of Exmoor in the South West of England. After learning to ride (some 35 years ago - aged 10) on my cousins Cota 349 at the Beggars Roost trial, I recently decided to get my own bike. I have had a Fantic 240 Pro a few years ago but am now the proud owner of a MH123 with a MH200 engine fitted. Only bought today and collecting later in the week. Road registered with tax and MOT and can't wait to get going. I hope to fit a light kit sometime so I don't get stuck when I am out having fun! I want to get into some classic trials, is there any locally to me anymore? My cousin and his dad (Clive Mills…

Hi, New to all this trials malarkey, have joined as I intend to get my boys 7 and 9 into riding so we can go and have some fun together (rather than me watching them have all the fun at Tennis /footballl etc etc) We have some old bikes I am going to get rid of (pw50,ty80,gg50) so I can get the boys a bigger oset 20 to ride on as the 9 year old is to big for the 16 we have, but I like the osets for them to learn on as they easier for them to learn on with no clutch. They are really excited and interested at the moment so looking forward to trawling round the site and picking up some tricks and tips. Cheers Phil
