Hey everybody! I'm a semi-pro Sportbike Freestyle rider who's looking for a new chalenge! I've been intrigued by Trials for years, and I want to buy my first Trials bike. I have really good throttle and brake control compared to most novice trials riders due to my experience with Sportbike Freestyle and I'm wondering which bike I should start on. There's a 1993 Gas Gas GT12 and a 1992 Gas Gas GT32 for sale somewhat close by. They're both priced at $1200 (thought I'm sure I can talk them down.) Which one would be a better starter bike for someone such as myself? I'm not a big guy (5'10", 180lbs) but like I said I think I would take to this pretty quickly due to my experi…

Hello, Found this forum looking for information on the M49 Bultaco Sherpa T I am building. Lots of good information here. Back in the day (early 1970's), I raced a Mk4 Pursang in scrambles and flat track. Haven't had an off road bike in 40+ years. The brain says "Lets Go!!", but the body says, "you're kidding, right?" Got a couple of M49's to build a one good bike, one a 1969 Sammy Miller version and the other a regular 1970 M49. Here is a pic of my starting point after stripping down the Sammy Miller version. http://s916.photobuc...zps2bd3751b.jpg And here is where is where I am at this point. http://s916.photobuc...zpsbd2c0149.jpg Working on rebuilding the eg…

Hi there folks, new to the forum and joined cos my two youngsters have recently started riding. We have a TY80 at the moment and a second one on its way shortly. Years since I was on a trials bike but now looking at getting one to join the kids in all the fun. May well be asking advice on the bikes and the Yorkshire trials scene. Well I will start now with a question, has anyone out there done a TY80 big wheel conversion. The standard 14"/16" are fine for the 10 year old but I am looking to some larger (16"/19") wheels to fit to the second bike for the 12 year old. I have read that the 32 spoke rims make things difficult. Cheers John.

Have been really impressed with the forum having visited a couple of times. All the best Hoss (Steve)

I've ben playing around on a 1987 TLR200 Reflex (USA model) for a few years and am now looking for restoration parts. I am having troubles finding the vintage plastic fenders, headlight visor, and side panels. I'd also like to learn the tricks to help bring this little 4-stroke trials bike up to par.

Afternoon all. I'm just getting into this trials thing as I fancy doing a bit of mud plugging in the winter down here in Somerset. I live in the Quantock Hills so not too far from some lovely routes, although I know the area of outstanding beauty lot have had most the trails closed. I do know some local farmers who I'm sure will let me shred their fields and woods though. Anyway I happened across this OSSA MAR in the VMCC magazine a few weeks back just down the road, so I duly popped over and bought it off the chap. Nice little bike; hand painted in Hammerite with the tank and panels in Dulux non drip gloss. Suffice to say the bike is now a crate of bits with the frame o…
