Hi All I am 46 years young and live just outside Buckingham and have been involved in bikes most of my life, mainly road racing and touring. I have some places to practice up on the cotswolds but would like to meet up with some locals to help get me get going on my Fantic 200 twinshock. Someone to laugh at me when I fall off etc. I have no aspirsations to become a champion I am just out to enjoy trials riding and the countryside, its just something I have always wanted to do. Hi my ride is a ' D1' ridged bantam with a 'D14/4' motor ,I belong to the E.F.A. ( Eastern four stroke association) you lot may know them better for putting on the ' THUMPERS ' trials over at Colchester Essex .I've only been riding since last season ,my last trial was at the snaque pit near Sudbury and only dropped 12pts over 40 sections, ( I'm quite proud of myself) at 52 going on 21, I am thoroughly enjoying myself. I also took a lot of photos of 'Tumpers 07' anyone out there rode it ???

I know this may seem like a stupid question but, which way do the shocks properly go (mount) on a 1974 TY80A? To simplify my question, there is a "cutaway" or recessed section on one end of each shock. This "cutaway" could go on the top, or the bottom AND/or facing in (toward wheel) or out. Four possible scenerios here. Does anyone know what the proper set-up is? Thanks, Matthew

Hello folks, I have Barged in using My Son's registration details. Yesterday I "Registered", or thought I had. The System aknowledged my registration---- E Mail address, log in name and password. No acknowledgement has reached my E Mail adress. I tried to log in tonight using said User Name and password. However , No Go! Message reads--- "This E Mail address is already in use" or words to that effect. So a second attempt at registering has been futile. No. 1 Son has not used My address, so that aint the prob! That was a sad day. My last trial as I was going overseas to work. Hi my name is Dave Raw and I had a great time living to Trial for six years or so.. The good old days of Norman Crooks in Northallerton. I did try to get back into Trialing but with commitments it never worked. I am working in Aberdeen through the week then traveling home for the weekend so little time to start now but I have and always will have the "feet up" blood in my vains. I've been into pre 65's for a while although i don't get to compete very often. I did a season of the various Scottish events (but not 'the Scottish') a few years ago on a B40 and I hope to do more this year. I started on a Whitehawk 175 then progressed to an Armstrong 240, which i had to sell to help pay for her in doors first car!!! Hi, everybody I just found this site in the middle of searching for some Italjet Trials 250 parts. I currently own a 1981 Italjet Trials 250 in Southern Ontario, Canada. 60 miles west of Toronto. The bike was purchased by my younger brother new back in 1982. There was 6 machines in Brantford at one time I am told. My brother rode Junior trials in the Canadian Motorcycle Association for a few seasons. Then he sold the bike to me. I am wondering if anyone knows any connections with Italjet dealers? I did get some points and condensor and a flywheel tool from a dealer in the Boston Mass area a few years back. Cheers Robert

hi all, my name is chris i`m from stourbridge in the midlands and fancy getting involved in trials, got no idea how to go about it cuz all my off road experience was in south africa where i did motocross and enduro. been out of it for years an thought at 41 i might as well grow up and act my age and try something new. any advice on clubs in my area,events etc will be greatly appreciated, cheers

Greetings all: I just joined, just picked up a GasGas 200 last night, and I am ready to ride! I rode a '77 Cota 123 back when it was new, and and haven't been motorcycling at all since 1980. Long story; my dad was working with the west coast Montesa distribution in the states, Martin Belair worked there and introduced me to the sport. We rode all over southern California, Santee and Barona and Saddleback, and even the Orange County Fair. Anyhow, after way too long away from the sport, both my brother and I are jumping in feet up. Hi all. Just stumbled across this site while looking for some info on my new (to me at least) Beta Techno 250. Thought i'd sign up and see what its all about I'm a total novice to the world of trials riding - got my first trials bike just last week! Hi, - Not so new actually, Born 1944 so ancient really. Used to ride in the 60's & 70's but never very good only ever managed to win a novice event. Had a Fanny B, then two DOT's and finally a 1973 Sherpa. Having a nostalgic trip down memory lane - second childhood I guess! Have nearly finished restoring a Bultaco Sherpa T 199a. Scared myself half to death when I first rode it. Guess I'll have to learn all over again if my arthritic old body will let me -heart bypass, new knee and new hip!!! Hello all, I thought I would say hello. I got into riding as a young teenager in the mid '70s. My parents bought me a brand new Honda XR75 and I had a blast with it for four years. What a great way to build your independence. I also had a TL125 I rode as a trail bike at the time and an XL500. In the early 80's I got very heavily (3-5 days a week) into rock climbing for about 10 years. Our riding areas slowly dissappeared as well so I got rid of the bikes. Hi All, I'm in a little place on the SE tip of the Australian mainland, called Mirboo North. 2 mins from the forest, with a big hill in the backyard. Been riding since 7, growing up on a NZ Sheep Farm. I'm a trials virgin, but always wanted to have a go at it, after watching the next door neighbor ride over a 44 gallon drum on a TL125. We used them for mustering. Past bikes i've had, have been an Yamaha Mx80, XL100, XR200, RD250LC, GPZ900R.
