Hi, Another newbie here. Picked up my "new" 2001 Beta Rev 3 270 yesterday. Bought from the biggest bullsh*tter I've ever met and have found a couple unmentioned nasties already. Happy to say that I've actually enjoyed tinkering with it (so far). Will be a regular poster in the "help me" section so thanks in advance! It looks like this site is the best and perhaps the only source of really useful info so far. I ride a KTM as well and there's an abundance of info about them out there. It's hard to even find things like torque specs for the Beta! Anyway - cheers!

New to trials, really having fun with my 07 Sherco 2.5. I have a few ramps and wooden skids set up to ride over and doing ok. Been upside down a few times going over the 4 footsections. Being new to this sport I am having some wrsit and shoulder pain due in part to my age 50+but was wondering if I am doing something wrong to have this pain or is it kind of normal due to the up right riding position? Thnx Tom

Hello everybody, thought i would start here as it seems the most logical place. My name is Matt and i live just outside Shrewsbury. I have just come back from a 3yr break away from trials and have just bought myself a really good beta techno. I will be making a few trips to practice grounds and a few abit further away should anyone wish to join me. I cant wait to get back out again on the trials iron. i hope to use this bike for a year or so to get my hand back in and then maybe upgrade again when the time is right. Would love to hear from any other trials riders in the Shropshire area. All the best.......Matt Clarke

I hope to try to come as far that is possible for me. We practice once or twice a week and soon I have my first contest. Being stubborn ofcourse not listened that good to other people what bike we should buy. So now whe have a shed full. My girlfriend ended on a 125cc Beta Evo and I ended in a 300cc Vertigo Combat.

I took it to a practice track this weekend for the first time, cracking fun but the bike needs sorting properly. Anyone interested in twinshocks in the wolves area please get in touch, clubs, places to ride ect. Regards, John.

Recently acquired a 1973 OSSA MAR from the original owner. Rough but mostly there. Not running and needs some attention. The MAR was not a planned machine to own, was looking more at a modern trials bike but this was offered to me knowing it was going to a good home. Time will tell if it is viable to fix up or is cost prohibitive. Always wanted a trials bike, hope to attend some of the Florida events, even if as a spectator.

Hello everyone, my name is Bart and I am from Poland. I've just bought a 1988 Beta TR34 260cc as an early christmas present for myself It needs some basic restoration and maintenance, but nothing that would overwhelm me. I am an amateur enduro enthusiast who wants to improve his riding skills and technique. Hopefully I can later translate those skills to my Yamaha TT600R, or maybe I will totally hook on Trials? Who knows? I also collect and restore vintage Vespa scooters, that is why I wanted a classic 2T Trial bike, not a modern one. Hope to find a lot of information here. Cheers!
