Hi all. I have always fancied a go at trials so thought this is the place to start. At the moment I am selling my trusty XR600 which I hope will fund a new toy. Possibly a Gasgas txt 250? However, I know very little about this type of bike or trialling in general. The plan is to fit a rack on the back of my Land Rover and go and learn a bit of what it is all about. So here I am. Ready to learn, and in need of a bike.

Good morning everyone from Rossendale Lancashire. Decided to sign up to the site rather than just a guest browser, well I will get straight to the point. I would like to have my 1983 coat 349 (y reg) be treated to a full engine overhaul, no major dramas at the moment but I think the mains are just starting to become a touch noisy. Where can I purchase these along with the related seals, gaskets and other bearings etc preferably all from one supplier. Part two now! I would like to invest in a RTL 250 twin disc model, but don't have a great deal of knowledge of them .There's a couple on that other site for £5500 ish ,is that a fair reflection? Any replies much appreciated …

Hello all, I'm Simon based in Hampshire UK and I'm just starting to rebuild a 1969 Model 49 Bultaco Sherpa identical to the one I had when I was 15 in 1975! Will be posting for advice on rebuilding teh engne and what special tools etc are needed.

  5. Started by Ian T,

My google searches for information kept pointing me here, so I thought I'd better get involved! I am rebuilding my dad's Bultaco Sherpa which he had planned to do himself, but unfortunately he died unexpectedly a few months ago. Apart from the Sherpa I have a few Greeves trials bikes (I am on the Greeves Riders Association committee) and also ride a Royal Enfield 350 Bullet on occasions. I hope to find some help here for my Bultaco project, and of course if I can offer any assistance in return then I'd love to.

Hi Folks I say relative as a couple of years ago I got myself a '97 GasGas JTX250 and all the gear, joined the ESTC, practiced falling off a bit, did one observation and then stopped riding for the next two years. Anyway I'm determined to have a better go this time round, I would really like to take up the sport, get more practice in and actually take part in some trials. Although I've still got the JTX I'm contemplating going twinshock as there's no way at my age (51) I'm going to start rock hopping. Hopefully I'll meet up with some of you and pick up some tips All the best Ian

Hi folks. My names Tom, as you have probably guessed from the username! A good decade or so ago now when I was in my early teens, I practiced at Earl Shilton Trials Club in Leicester, I started off on an old JCM (not sure where that originates from), then brought a Fantic, and eventually treated myself to a lovely 99 Montesa 315R. Anyway....recently I have really started to have withdrawl symptoms, strangely enough, encouraged by an 'app' on my phone and have had decided that its time to venture back into it. Im going to be looking around for a bike within the next few months, but thought I would see how much the world has changed since the last time I was in it, and h…

Hi, I am a restorer in Wisconsin. I will be looking for parts for a 1975 Kawasaki KT250. NOS preffered. Right now I need left and right handlebar switches. A good set of pit free fork tubes would be appreciated. Would rather not need to rechrome and centerless grind if possible. Thank you for any help. Mark
