September 24, 201213 yr HI all kee here from rossendale lancs just joined the forum . Just bought my first bike to get into the sport a 2001 sherco 290cc . just need some help with fuel as i am really unsure of what is the right fuel and oil mix for my bike and dose any body no where and if i cud buy any kind of Maintenance Manual for my bike .Like i said im as green as the grass when it comes to bikes so apologies if these seem like stupid questions

Mix at 80:1 and you will be fine. Many seem to use Castrol TTS as it seems readily available over there. There are many other brands available. Get yoursel to the Sherco threads and you will find a pinned thread at the top that will lead you to manuals and other info on the Sherco site, or post up for other links on the US side. Cheers,
