Saying hello from Oz. I have been a lurker to this site for some time, and decided I should join up as this is the biggest and best board know to trials. I havent been into trials for as long as many of you, but always had a bike since I was a kid in the late 70's. Trials suited me a fews years ago, as I had a casual go at it before in the early 80's. I was into enduro then, then dropped out of racing for a number of years due to injuries. Hi everyone, well here goes... in a few weeks you will all be smiling at another "old fart" attempting trials... well its not quite true, you see i competed regularly in the 1980's, but in 1987 my first son came along and that ended my trials career... in recent years I've been playing at landrover trials, and i have a few trophies to show for it. I used to ride trials many years ago with a Honda TL 125 with a powroll 175 kit on it. It was a cool little bike all be it heavy. I love the new bikes because you do the same stuff on it we do on our bicycles. I ride bicycle trials as well. Now one thing I'd like to know and maybe I'm stupid here but in the videos I've watch of say Lampkin there's this guy yelling like an idiot to do stuff the rider is already doing. If it were me I'd slap this guy. It would absolutely bug the holy crap out me. WHAT could this yelling possibly do for the rider but break his concentration. Hi Everyone, Well i've just bought myself a used Sherco 250cc after not owning a bike for 16yrs. The last one i had was a motocross and now the kids are growing up i fancied to try something different! ................................................................................ ........................................... And something different it is.... not had so much fun in ages although just learning to ride again is a major task. Hello everybody, l've just got my self a Fantic 307. which was going well ..However today l've lost the use of the clutch some thing in side the engine has stopped working.. The cable is all ok, the small lever is moving up & down which is connected to the back of the engine....... HELP PLEASE Engine runs well . But does have a small clicking noise coming from the front sproket area(my be connected in some way ?) look forward in any surgestions,, Any webb sites which may help Thanks

Andy, (I appreciate this might not be the best place to post this) Just a thought, as TC features grow, is there a user guide or a place where we can post the stupid questions, "How do I ....." How to post pictures/links to pictures/Videos How to use the search engine Not missing any posts ("view new posts", "mark all posts as read" etc.) Setup a Blog, track a blog etc. Etc. I keep trying to do a search, say of all posts in the last week, but I'm incompetant and can't get the results I want.

hi there, new to this, stuggling big style to get bits for my wee tl 50 trials bike, im needing a barrel and piston , new or second hand , as long as it will go??? ive just finished a ty 125 rebuild and having good fun on it . still cant suss out how to get forward motion to get up on big obsticles etc but hey its good crack. once i get better im out for a beta or similar, cheers,

Hi All, I am new to trials have just bought a 2003 Sherco 250 (never ebay while drinking!!! ) not sure if it was a bargin or well over the odds!!! I am going to pick it up on Saturday any advice on what check on the bike? I have had road bike for years but know nothing about trials. Thanks for any help Cheers Andy

Hi! im completely new to trials biking but not to bikes! I have just bought my self a Fantic 403 212cc or thats what i think it is ! the rear mudguard is off a gasgas not to botherd at the mo just incase i fall off. im hoping to restore it quite alot to original. take a look at the bike now. sorry about the quality just off pfone i will upload some better ones as i go along.Josh

Hi all, Just purchased a Fantic 205, early 90's, air cooled 156cc, monoshock, and wondered if anybody has an electronic version of a operators/workshop/parts manual for this bike. I believe its pretty much the same as all the 5 series, apart from the engine cc of course. John

Thought I'd say oright to everyone. I use to ride push bike trials..(craigleescott.co.uk)..I was sponsored by zoobike.com for just over 4 years and have now decided to change to the motorcycle scene. Just got myself a Raga 300. I live in Rotherham, not far from Sheffield. Anyone know of any spot around this area? I've heard stocksbridge is good? HI ALL, I have just bought a fantic. I know nothing about it and am looking for some info! I have never owned a trials bike before as i am used to road bikes. I have no proper equiptment or even off road boots! ... but i hope to get some stuff in the next month or so. Hey everyone, I am from Homer, Alaska and I have raced MX for a few years, I also have a Monty trials bike which I rode a lot the last 2 summers. I had to sell my crf250 last year (to pay for my jeep) I am looking into getting a new motorcycle trials bike! Awww Yeah. I'm really stoked on it! The bummer part of it is there is no one else to go riding with I have been doing a lot of research on all the different bikes and I think I am heading towards the Beta bikes, maybe 4-stroke??
