Hi There, I've just got into trials and thought I'd sign up to get some help with tackling maintenance on the bikes. I've got a 2008 Beta 250 and a pal has just bought a 2009 Beta 290 Evo Mine is running sweet but he has what we think is Piston Slap, (more on this in my next post) We're from Leeds. Hi, My name's Pete Dawson, I'm new to Trials Central but have been around for years. Have ridden Trials and Scrambles for 50 years next month on most makes of British, Spanish and Japanese machinery at some time or other. I am secretary of the Red Marley Hill Climb Club, Secretary for the Retro 65 two day trial and a regular rider in BMCA Classic trials on my little 170 Cotton Miarelli.

Hello all, joined the site a few weeks ago and been lurking in the background. Just bought myself a very tidy Montesa Cota 348 and have my first trial in a couple of weeks time. Any tips or advice on keeping my new pride and joy sunny side up will be greatly appreciated.

Hello fellow forum goers. Been looking and learning here for some time and what a great site it is, so thanks to everyone for sharing their knowledge and experience. I am new to trials and have yet to ride in one, but the time is drawing near as the TY250A that's been languishing in the shed is nearly ready for action. It's a roughy but will be a work in (modification) progress. Sorry I don't have a photo on my computer to post right now. It is good to be part of the trials central community at last.

Hi, I rode trials back in the 80's but then had a severe case of speed fever! i rode MX, Enduro's even road racing. But now with more kids 'n ex wives than you can shake a stick at i decided its time to slow down and re-dicover the ART of riding a motorcycle rather than just looning about on one. I'm looking for a cheap bike to get me started, TY pinky is favorite at the mo. Anyone with one littering their garage, and want to get rid, just e-me. Cheers, Paul.

Hi All, I am coming back to Trials after a few years break (getting through the first years of fatherhood!) I reckon I can make enough excuses now to spend more time in the garage & out on the bike so ready to get the bike out, give it a overhaul and get riding again. Guna need some advice on getting the main bearings done & few other bits. I have a 2004 Sherco 250 & the last time I run it it had a bit on an engine tap, I am assuming crankshaft bearings! Hi All. I'm into supermoto and mx but, always wanted trials bike. Will probably get one soon as getting one for my lad now.

As the topic says already, I'm a newbee to trials, but not to bikes. I just bought myself a '99 GasGas txt270 to try to learn the basics of trials. I got infected by a friend who's into this sport for about 20 years now As for the moment I'll mostly be doing reading and learning, though I might come up with some technical questions, since I do not know the ins and outs of the bike yet. There is a proper chance by the way, that this winter the GasGas will get a third wheel, since the "three wheel fever" has been running through my veins for over 2 decades and that way my better half could participate in the sport

Well I'm kinda sorta new on here and never actually introduced myself, I know how rude! I'm newer to the trials world I've been learning for about 5 months I believe. I'm currently riding a 94 175cc JT160 GAS GAS. I do not compete just yet but I hope to in the near future I want to get better with my turns which I royally suck at at the moment. I've finally become more comfortable with rocks but those darn anthills still defeat me.. I will get my revenge one day.. But any way back to Earth.. I hope to make some friends on here and hopefully learn some new stuff..
