Hello all, After more than 40 years of street riding, 10 years of road racing and 20 years of riding dirtbikes I finally bought a Trials bike. Non of my previous experience seems to add up to a hill of beans when it comes to the Trials Bike I'm sure the Trials bike will greatly enhance all my other forms of riding. I have only had it out a few times, mostly trail riding, and look forward to getting involved more with the sport.

My name is Kevin and I've moved from Pommieland to NZ. Took up trials again after a long time off and have met a good bunch of lads. We go out to play every sunday and have a modern trial once a month. I've got an 05 250 Pro which I managed to break already so it's in bits in Blenheim. I've been lent an 03 Scorpa which I like a bit too much, so! Also got a TLR200 so I can do the odd classic trial and I'm trying to get my boy a bit beter at riding so he can come too. Life is good! Sirsherco are you who I think you are?

Hi Guys, after a lay off from riding since i was a lad, i've recently got back into bikes although I've never considered trials. Now i've bought a trials bike and want to give it a go, but the question is where to start on the learning process. I'm sure someone out there can give me some sound advice. Please. Dave O

Ive ridden bikes since 1963, bought my first one myself at 18 in 1965 . . and have had over 100 different bikes in the last 45 years . . . . Being a 'tool guy' I mostly fix them up, drive them for a while and resell and buy something better until I have something I want to keep a while . . I rode a 74 Honda tl125 in 74-76 and a tl250 in 84 , , , had a bad fall in 85 desending a steep slope, broken bones involved, and swore off dirt bikes . . . kept ridding street bikes until I was 55 and my wife asked me to stop . . said Ok . . . went for 4 years without a bike . . . But at age 60 I couldn't stand being bikeless, bought 2 Trials bikes and want to try it again . . . . …

Hi all from Sunny California! Enjoyed browsing the site. Turns out I rode Trials for a while in Europe, many many years ago (OK, OK in the 70s... ) Well, the bug has bitten again, in part driven by the great newer bikes and by fond memories of fun in the woods. So, I'm presently looking for a bike and if successful, may just get to enjoy the sport again. Hope to participate and perhaps contribute a bit later on to the site! best regards Eric

Just Rode the Glaisdale 40mile trial for 1st time. Guisbrough club did a cracking job - a good old fashioned trial but with routes to suite all, like me. Hope they don't turn it into a national, as the rumour is this is a possibility, it's perfect as it is. Well done to all involved - doing the Wainwright this weekend - bet i dont get such a relaxed ride.

Hello folks as you will no doubt see from the user name i'm originally from sheffield but now exiled due to marriage and kids in deepest darkest lancashire (oh the shame on the family name! ) well in Lytham st.annes to be precise. Now lytham is nice enough but it is to trials what my granny is to downhill skiing! I've spent a few hours reading this and many other sites and it would appear that i need to do a few things to get started....namely find a club and try a few bikes So there in lies the problem. Lytham is about 5 miles from blackpool and 12 or so from preston. With a bit of head stratching i've worked out that the local clubs seem to be Bolton, Lancs county o…
