Well, I bought a TLR200 Reflex off eBay a few months ago. Started out looking for a nice little dirt bike, led to trials bikes....... Been fixing it up, shocks, carb, handlebars, pegs, fork seals and springs, fender, tires, does it ever end? Went to first trial ever last month and was properly humbled, thought I would just have to learn a little about slow speed skills....HAH! I've roadraced and motocrossed in my youth, learned unicycle forwards and back, I'm finding the challenges of trials great fun. Hi everyone - as title says - new to trials, just bought a lovely Sherco 290 (2003) with view to competing got million & 1 questions regarding bike & competing 1) is 95 octane fuel ok to use in my sherco with castrol power1 2t oil. 2) does anyone have handbook/manual for 2003 290 sherco 3) looking for some cheap ish riding gear to buy, wheres best place 4) anyone around bristol, uk into trials that i can hook up with to learn the ropes of competing sorry if these things have been asked a million times before but as i said - all new to me and very keen to get into it

Hi everyone, new to the forum here and excited about my first post. I am looking at buying my first trials bike and getting into the sport. I am a relatively skilled enduro rider but I'm looking to take my technical riding to the next level. I live in the states and trials bikes are pretty rare around where I live. I managed to find a 2003 Gas Gas TXT Pro 280 that looks to be in decent shape. I was curious on everyone's thoughts as far as the overall condition of the bike and what I should look for if I go check out the bike in person, or whether this is one of those models that I should stay away from. Hi Guys my names Jeff, and i am thinking of taking up trials. I currently jetski, freestyle on a stand up about 7 years now. Todays economy has swung me, where building a freestyle ski is big money, You cannot buy one new unlike a trials bike, where its ready to trial straight out the showroom. Any advise on what bike to buy ?, second hand for starters. I am 39 years old, 5 feet 7 inches, and 11 stone, any advise on the right bike for me would be gratefull. Thanks for any feedback Jeff.

Hello again to all fellow riders. i unfortunately had to sell my Bultaco Sherpa due to money worries but have now sorted out a few problems and picked my self up what i think is a 1978 Montesa cota349. it has been stood for a good few years but turns over with plenty of compression. looking forward to stripping it and getting it something like ready for some fun. it does need a good few parts so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! My name is Scott and I am excited to be part of this group. I picked up my first trials bike this morning- a 2011 Beta Evo 300 4t. I bought it from a guy in the local trials club and it seems to be very well cared for. Can’t wait to see what this thing can really do! i have about 10ish years experience riding dirt bikes when I was younger, but I haven’t really been on one in 10-15 years. I have a 3 year old son who now owns his first bike- a little Honda CRF50. I figured a trials bike for me would be perfect so I can cruise around with him and not leave him in the dust. Any TAMPA area riders on here ?

Howdy y'all, I just picked up my second trials bike a few weeks ago - a 2010 GasGas txt300 Raga. It's been a good little scooter and I've gone to a couple trials events already. I've been riding off-road most of my life, so this is a good learning experience! My previous trials bike was a '03 Scorpa SY250 and I just picked up a '01 GasGas txt80. So, I've come here for some help rebuilding various things on these bikes!

Allow me to dive head long into the fray. My name is Marc and I live in Westminster Colorado. After riding dirt bikes and street bike for 47 years, FINALLY just got my first Trials bike. I picked up a nice 1997 Beta Techno from my local Beta dealer and am looking forward to the huge learning experience that now lays in front of me. I promise not to start and Oil or tire threads and behave myself in a proper manner. Well OK that might be hard as I am also an ADVRider. I shall begin the search on this forum to start my learning and then start in with all the silly questions required from a n00b. Cheers. Marc
