    Levers

I put on a set of Apico levers on both the clutch and brake. The clutch side feels slightly wider/thicker than the brake. I don't know if this is due to the forged construction? Both had a bit of a different feel than the AJP levers, but not enough as to not get used to them after 10 minutes of riding.
  2. Check out this dog pulling some urban moves. I guess it's technically parkour, but looks like trials to me!
  3. Hey #82, Moab is a great place for the trials bike! You can ride the slickrock trail with motorcycles. Contrary to what most mountain bikers think, the trail was actually laid out by motorcyclists, for motorcycles in 1969. You'll get a few dirty looks, but most bikers are pretty cool and very interested in our bikes. I think they are a bit jealous watching how easy the hills are when you have an engine There is a pretty cool OHV area designated for use by 4x4's and other motorized vehicles called Area BFE. I think the local club has put on some events there in the past. Check out the website http://areabfe.com/ A lot of the jeep trails are pretty good rides, too. We try to pick out the more difficult rated trails. Gas can sometimes be an issue with the trials bikes, so we always carry some extra fuel and try to ride the shorter trails. Some favorites are Seven Mile Rim, Moab Rim, Poison Spider Mesa, and the many near Gold Bar Rim area. http://www.4x4now.com/mu4wd.htm See ya, Dana
  4. Pete, Cool video! You're right, the original Widowmaker was conquered many years ago. They moved it to another spot on the mountain for several years, but it became too easy as well. Unfortunately, houses have been built practically at the base of the two Widowmaker spots. You can still see some of the track on the mountain, but it has grown over for the most part. The new site of the hillclimb (on the video) is located roughly an hours drive from where it all started.
  5. I just picked up an Airoh Nippon (red & silver). The construction quality is far superior to the carbon NZI that I am replacing. The Airoh has a nice removable/washable liner and the graphics are painted on instead of stickers that eventually start peeling off.

Yeah, but that tele tone makes up for it!

Thanks Charlie! It does look like a soapbar in the avatar. It's just the nickel pickup cover. I swapped out the stock pups for some Seymor Duncan '59s.

My fender had a crack roughly 2"x2" I took a heat gun to the underside of the fender. Be careful not to go crazy with the heat or the plastic will discolor. After the plastic was soft I took a butter knife and spread the melt across the cracks fusing them. Slapped a sticker on the other side and you can't even see the damage. The repair has held for over three years.
