  1. Roy. I do not have the book of J.A.P. that you are seeking. I have 4 of the Max Kings books, but cannot find #3 and there seems to be very little info about it. I have a lot of Sammy millers books and now have both of the British trials bikes books, Two and Four stroke. Very interesting reading. Good luck in your search.

  2. This has nothing to do with the most expensive "Trials" book ever. However it could be. Please be patient. I now have 4 of the 5 Max Kings books, Motor Cycle Trials Riding. They are pretty interesting and really give you the goods on trials as it was in the past. I would really like to finish off this collection. I have 1, 2, 4, 5 editions. Edition 3 is really elluding me and I can't find it anywhere. I use ABE Books and Book Finder. com with no luck at all. Does anyone know of a book seller that may have the 3rd edition in stock, or have the ISBN number that I can use in a search for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best Regards Derek N Left Coast of Canada
  3. Good day folks. I'm a complete newb to trials, although I've always been fascinated with the sport. Plus I used to plunk around on a Sherpa T in the early 70's. I must be completely daft to be doing this at the age of 60, howeverI thought that if I took a sport that requires balance it would only improve my balance overall. I've found a Yamaha Majesty thats a bit ratty but still runs strong and is all there, unlike myself. I'm planning to restore it and use it at the same time so a rolling restoration is in progress. My thing is to just have fun with it and do the odd vintage trial here in the colonies. We have a very active club here in Victoia, British Columbia, Left Coast of Canada. Just lurking here I've found a lot about the Bike. This is a great forum and I'm looking forward to learning about this sport of trials Cheers BlindPew
