Hi, I,m building a pre 65 bantam D7. Not having touched a 2 stroke for about 30 years I dont know what i,m doing. however memory says that back in the 60s I saw an article by George Todd in which he suggested 1/16 off the top of the exhaust port, 1/8 off the rear of the piston skirt and an increase in compression would would provide more get up & go. In this new age can anyone tell me if this is indeed the way to go. any advice would be much appreciated. THANKS.
