  1. My bike has miraculously made it back into my garage, without the assistance of the local police force. The bike was spotted by a local club member and he went way beyond the call of duty to find out where they lived. I told the police that we knew where the bike was and who had it. They said they'd try to get back to me on the 25th July when the responsible officer returned from vacation! To cut a long story short, we decided to go visit the new "owners" and confront them with my registration document. Amazingly, they resigned themselves to the facts and let me take the bike back home without resistance. They said they'd bought the bike from Gumtree, which may be true, but I suspect they were involved in the theft directly. Because the police are not interested, the person(s) that stole the bike will never be found. I'm fairly sure these guys will be looking out for a replacement so keep yours well and truly locked away! Big thanks to Dave from the Bon Accord Motorcycle Club for all his efforts and assistance. To the Grampian Police Force - please remind me why we pay taxes???
  2. I have just had my 2010 Beta Evo 250 4T (4 stroke engine) stolen from the front of my house in Banchory, Scotland. Nothing unusual about it, apart from a 10mm hole drilled in the rear mud guard which I used to attach the reg plate. Frame number is ZD3T6020090400110 Any info greatly appreciated!
