  1. Friction in Elrctric motor

    the bearings in these motors are sealed and are probably not the issue. more than likely it is a brush hanging up in the brush hood. they are a pretty strait forward design but the hard part is getting every thing back together. it could also be a timing issue with the motor in that it may need to be advanced a little. these motors do have very strong magnetic fields and with no freewheel you are always fighting the (force field) of the magnets.Hope this helps
