  1. Thanks coxy will give that a look in the morning
  2. Thanks both, coxy when this happened to your mate's bike did it damage any gaskets or was it as simple as cutting away the rubber protection? My bike seems to bee losing a quite a bit of oil but what you say makes sense as I v been learning how to Jap sap and have hit the bash plate more than usually lol
  3. I change the oil regular every 10 hrs using the recommended 450 ml and never had this problem I'm thinking maby a gasket of some description will take the bike to the trialstore in the new year but would like all of your thoughts before I do and if any one has had this problem with there 2012 sherco
  4. Was out yesterday when I noticed gear oil leaking off the sumpgard checked oil drain bolt this is ok but cannot see were its coming from as the rubber protection is in the way. Also think the bike has burned some of this as the manifold was oozing black oil this has never happened before as I only run the bike on 75 to1 mix. Would like to know ur thoughts on this as the bike was new in July!!! Thanks in advance Danny
  5. i live in austria taff, australia is a little to far from the green green grass of home lol have had a offer to test the 2012 290 sherco from the dealer but just wonderd if the diffrence between that and the new 300 cab would be that diffrent ie torque, power delivery ect. maby the 300 would suit my size better as im not a small lad?
  6. as a new member i just wanted to say hi to all from austria ! i am an avid trials fan from wales but moved to austria in feb 2011. i have always liked and watched trials and the time has come to hopefully purchase a bike ( have had motorcross bike before). i have spoken to some dealers over here and decided i like the look of the shercos the best. my problem lies with trying to choose the right sized bike as the new cabestany rep looks the biz but i understand that some might think this is to much for a novice. i am 6ft 5cm and 100kg so am not small so my thinking is the 300 cab rep might be better than say the 250 or 290 for low down power to pull my fat ass around! looking forward to hear all your advices and feet up dan
