I'm still a bit confused... do i need to get a 125 frame to register it or can i get a 175 frame and just register it as a 125?

maybe my best option would be to get a 125 frame with papers to register my 175...bit naughty i know but maybe less hastle.....anyone got a 125 frame?

Thanks scorpa, im hoping to register the bike and get an mot on it once iv sorted the engine out so i can ride it road legal, would that be possible by changing the parts you mention mate?

been looking on ebay for an engine but seem to be quite rare!

Hi all, looking at buying a ty175 soon as its going for a reasonable price and close to me! wanted a 125 really as i want to put it on the road with a CBT. is it straight forward engine swop? Cheers

Hi mate yeah thats a great help thanks very much, the bike is off road at the moment and was hoping to make it a 125 road legal bike to take test on....would the bootom half swop make it possible for me to register it as a 125 do you know?

Hi all been looking at a Yamaha ty175 as a project bike to restore, does anyone know if a 125cc engine unit will fit straight in for road legal reasons Cheers for any help
