I posted this question in the classic section, I suppose I should have put it here.
I have a totally standard 1958 Greeves Scottish in road going trim. I intend to make a few modifications to improve its off road use. My main concern is what gearing should I be using? Oh, it's a 9E 197cc Villiers engine. It will be used in easy route club trials.
I also want to change the standard exhaust to a lighter more robust type. Are there any off the shelf bolt on systems available for the Greeves?
I'm from NW Lancs. Just got back into trials after a 15 year break. Currently riding a Fantic 200 and a KT250. Also got a road going Greeves Scottish which I'm thinking of tinkering with to get fit to enter a couple of pre65 trials
