  1. They are from Matlock , Derbyshire, where did the bike end up? my grandad sold it through Trials and Motocross News when he'd saved up enough for a proper mono shock.
  2. The other mods he carried out were lifting the engine, similar to the old majesty dimensions and he also made a aluminium air box which sat on the opposite side of the frame from the exhaust to create room for the shocker but also to use the same air filter. We also believe that the front sprocket guard was made in the shape of a horse shoe out of aluminium and that it had a flat bash plate. Recently, he began twinshock trialling again and has once again been chopping the frames about and created two majesty style frames. My uncle, Sam Brownlee, who used to build the majesty's for John Shirt also had a lot of input into the conversion of the mono shock we believe you have.
  3. My grandad converted this into a monoshock in 1985 in his garden shed. It was originally a standard ty250 twinshock before my dad got the swinging arm pressed out of tube and chromed at British Rail. Also, the rear shocker was off a Kawasaki AR 50 moped. He also put a majesty tank on it. Please post more pictures as its great to see that this bike is still in existence.
