  1. So sorry to here that you have been subject to this, I had ttr250 and of all things demm dove moped stolen last year, these bikes are not about the value its About the intrusion and unltimately the personal value we put into these great mechanical institutions. Time doesn't heal but it does rekindle the flame please don't lose that.

  2. Hi had road bikes for many years but never a trial bike, went and brought Bultaco sherpa on 24th December in need of some tlc. With a week of work ime now completing "light restoration". Tank has now been repainted and new decals to go on it, exhaust has been stripped and painted in stove enamel, overhauled front brake (luckily chrome is very good), tomorrow painting foot pegs, fasteners etc. I've stripped and cleaned the carb so should be together Thursday so then it's change the oils and get it running - fingers crossed ! Ime going to have a go at some trials on it and go from there. My present road bikes are Ducati 749, Laverda Jota, Suzuki GT 250, Honda CBF125 and Puch Maxi (complete with big bore kit, racing forks, racing swingarm etc etc) fancy doing some sprint races next year on the puch for a bit of fun. I also like my cars and presently having drag racing car built to race in nostalgia series- regards Mark

  3. Hi thank you for the information Ile check the frame tomorrow, yes the tank in plastic which ime presently painting (know ile have problems with blistering but will tidy it up). Still confused what actual model it is, the frame and engine numbers match so not sure. Rubbed down the top frame rail down today to paint and it's not been painted previously, completing "light restoration" zinc coating all the small parts tomorrow, finish the tank and sort the front brake out. Regards Mark
