    Thanks for every ones help, yes I have confirmed its a sammy miller bike, i took it down to his museum and he had a look at it for me, even got it running. What an experience, im going to do a light restoration on it and get out riding it. Any idea where I can get a new tank from?

    Thanks Jon, Yea its not the smallest or lightest but should be a bit of fun, for the level im riding it at. Im just trying to get as much info as I can on the bike before I start to rebuild it. Cheers Alex

    Hello everyone,Im a new member, I recently bought a Ariel trials bike and don't really know what I have.I used to do pre65 trials on a T100 Triumph trials bike and have always wanted a big 500 Ariel, so I took the plunge.Can anyone shed some light on to my bike? Would love to know who built the frame etc.Thanks everyoneAlex
