  1. Mark your 27 is stunning, thanks for putting it up. Sorry I didn't reply earlier it's been chaos the last few days and just didn't have the time to come on. I'd like to rack your brains at some point if that's ok? There are few bits with no reference to in the manual, e.g. Fixining point of the silencer, whether the the rear mudguard had a recessed pressing to cover the chainguard/silencer.. Be nice to see the other side of your bike too.. all the best for now Gary.
  2. I want to say a huge thank you to all. Without all your help and advice I couldn't of got the parts organised so quickly! I'm almost there. Complete top yoke is sorted, nos levers sorted (the handlebars are a possibility), inlet manifold for the IRZ too! There are still a few bits but mainly cosmetic which I can source here and in Spain, so once the post starts arriving I can finally make a start in her. Can't wait!!! Honestly a huge thank you to every one of you, your great guys. all the best for now Gary.
  3. The clamp that's on her will do for now but it's the original I'm after. I've taken your advice Scot and emailed Hugh's Bultaco and Hogan cycles so thank you again ever so much for the contact. One will turn up at some point! all the best Gary.
  4. Hi Jon, I will definitely post photos of her progress. I'm just waiting for the chainguard to be made, as the bracket on top of the swing arm was cut off at some point and I need to mock up the chain guide and chainguard to set the correct bracket location before I strip her down! this is how she stands now. The photos aren't the best as my phone camera isn't too good. all the best Gary.
  5. Thanks Scot I'll send them an email. all the best Gary
  6. Hi Greg, I didn't have a clue! I haven't got Facebook but I'll certainly look in to it. thanks Greg
  7. Hi all, I emailed a lot of breakers in the states and one has come back to me saying he's got one off an early m49. Ive asked if he can send me a photo, I haven't heard back from him yet but my fingers are crossed it's the same as your one! I've managed to get few bits organised in Spain. Handlebars with built in perches and levers and a few other bits are also scarce but I've run a few ads so fingers crossed. I'm really close now to starting the restoration and if the guy in the states comes good I'll be on it in the next 2-3 weeks, cant wait! I'll put some photos on once I get the bike out of storage. all the best and thank you everybody for helping. Gary.
  8. You know what! I wish I'd got in touch with you all prior to this! I,ve stuck my head in and read a lot of your forum chats for a long time now! just want to say thank you really. I absolutely love trials! The first bike I had as a youngster was an m10 and my mate knew I'd always wanted another. This m27 he's brought in from Canada for me, so I owe it to him to do it a justice! He knows I'm a purist at heart but sometimes I like to put a twist on the early bikes! He knows who he is, but honestly, a huge thank you to all of you who's helping me and advising me, sincerely. All the best all Gary.
  9. Hi Stuart, thanks for your info it's really is appreciated. I'm sure one will turn up at some point. I'm just really happy that you guys have broadened my search with the info that they were also fitted to the early 49s.. all the best Gary

  12. Hi to all, I was wondering whether anyone can advise me please? I'm about to begin restoring my Bultaco M27 and didn't notice that the top clamp on the trees is wrong! I know the rarity of the 27 and the availability of parts is slim. Does anyone know whether the M10 top clamp is the same as the M27 please? If it definitely is then my percentage level of finding one may increase by a small fraction! any help will be greatly appreciated. many thanks Gary.
