  1. Thanks for all your help guys. I think I will have the crank overhauled as a result of this discussion.
  2. No, doesn't appear to be looking through a magnifier.
  3. 199A Rebuild progressed smoothly....until, the slightest tightening of the engine bolts and the ignition side crank flywheel is binding on the LH Crankcase. Main bearings are where they should be and the crank belongs to this motor. Any thoughts/suggestions please? Also the crank pin isn't flush with the crank halves, on the LH side which is fouling, it is recessed, on the other half it is very slightly proud. Should it not be flush on both sides?
  4. Just looking at a 199A Crank. No up and down movement in the big end but a lot of clearance side to side. Does this look normal?
  5. Yes 26mm Amal, thanks for that I will look at the Tufnol spacers.
  6. Anyone point me to an extended inlet manifold to fit a C15?
  7. Simple question on the rear brake assembly/chain tensioner. Can this be removed with the engine in or is it an engine out job?
  8. Thanks for the inputs guys. May persevere and try to get the Amal right assuming it is the correct carb. Markings are L2627 401, jets currently fitted are Pilot 20, Main 150, Needle 106. Do these sound right for a 250 Ossa?
  9. New to the Ossa but after 1 trial on it enjoying it so far. Fitted with a Mk2 Amal Concentric but seems rich on the bottom end. Anyone have recommended jetting or alternative carb recommendations?
