I just bought a used Scorpa SY250 but the suspension (damping) is set a bit light for me.
I started to try to adjust it but couldn't figure out which way to turn the adjusters or 'where to start' and how to keep the balance, for example in the front fork, of compression and rebound adjustments.
Similar in the rear shock, there is a screw but can I turn it in (or out) completely to start counting? I can't feel clicks.
So, without guidance I'm lost and the owner's manual I got, doesn't mention the suspension settings.
Can somebody help me out?
Which is the base setting, and how can I get to that if I don't know what the current setting is?

Will a Sammy Miller-type tank/seat unit make it even more of a classic?
My TY is an '89 model, almost new with about 300 miles on it...
They were never sold in the Netherlands where I live, so over here the bike has no classic status at all!
