  1. I asked this on another thread but maybe this is a better one. I want to buy something local and easily replaceable and I found these. It says 20 A max continuous discharge and active BMS sensing. Can I just plug these straight in and go. I have a Genius charger for lithium batteries that I'd probably use instead of the stock charge plug. The site says they're good for electric scooters (similar application I figure). https://dakotalithium.com/product/dakota-lithium-12v-10ah-battery/?v=3e8d115eb4b3 Thanks, Sean
  2. Hi there, I just got to take my 5 year old son out for the first time this year on his 2018 Osett 12.5 and the batteries are pretty weak, only lasted about an hour. I would love to do the LIPO conversion but he wants to go again this weekend so I'm looking for something I could buy off the shelf locally. The shop here wants $135/battery but I can't even get through on the phone to see if they have them in stock. I was wondering if something like these would be okay: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/12-volt-10ah-sla-battery-0102049p.html Or even better if I could just suck it up and buy these and plug them in: https://www.cabelas.ca/product/130371/dakota-lithium-12-volt-10-ah-battery I can build a car but I can't seem to wrap my head around electrical, got lost on the conversion thread and gave up lol. He's got a PW50 but he doesn't feel ready to get on it yet so I guess I don't want to spend too much if I don't have to. Thanks in advance, Sean
