Thank you. That got me thinking. I recently changed the small end bearing and its likely that I've over looked something else as part of the tear down and rebuild, wires to the thermostat case in point. I'll spend some time this weekend double checking.

By way of an update: Before I had chance to check the fan using a battery I noticed that I had the two wires going into the thermostat the wrong way round. Swapped them, took the bike for a good run to get up to operating temperature and the fan worked. Mystery solved but thank you for the advice.

Hello, my name is Wayne I ride a Gas Gas JT250 1995. My electric fan has stopped working and was wondering if any one knew where to get a replacement? I've tried Ebay and other online shops but drawing a blank at the moment. Any help would be much appreciated. Many Thanks Wayne.
