Hey guys and gals, Picked up a used 2.9 and I think something is off with it. It has a lopey idle like a cammed 4t but revs out fine. Didn't really think much of it until I was practicing some double blip action and ended up upside down. It fired right up and as got lined up to re attempt, it died as if i ran out of fuel. Topped of the tank and it just didn't want to run. So took it home, cleaned the tank, carb (keihin), Replaced the vent lines, replaced the o rings on the tank connections, checked reed valves, etc. It fires up now but I realize agreed watching 2.9 videos it has a lopey idle and every once in a while it acts like its running out of fuel. #1 It's there a way to test the fuel pump? #2 could this be a float hight/sticking problem? I guess I could take a video this weekend, maybe that will help.. Any and all suggestions welcome. Thanks for your time.
