  1. Fair play, that shows why i'm the one asking badly worded questions haha
  2. It doesnt have a gearbox mate its an Epure Race 21 so its just the clutch The drain plug is this one I just want to know if i can get a generic one the same rather than having to get a specific one ordered in.
  3. Yeah it is a confusing one as it stopped working after i'd changed the clutch oil which really shouldnt have affected anything. An update is that it now works. I took it off the lift stand and lay it on its side, pumped the lever a few times and gave the area near the bleed nipple some taps and when i stood the bike back up it worked perfectly. Now the weird bit, as soon as i put it back on the stand it wouldnt work, take it off the stand works fine??? So it could've actually been working all the time as i'd kept it on the stand since it stopped working while i had it in bits. I'm going to take it out in the morning and give it a proper test and at least its got new mineral oil 🤣
  4. Yeah that's the one haha. I'm thinking it is a bubble in the slave as I've bled it probably 6 times now and changed the master cylinder cover. I'm going to bleed again from the nipple now I've got more oil delivered but nice one, I'll try leaning it to work it out. Would disconnecting the hose and filling into the hole work?
  5. In todays episode of "what's he broke now?" Changed the clutch oil, Drained old out and replaced with 260mm of new but now the clutch doesnt engage at all. Thought it could need bleeding so i first filled from the bleed nipple, then as that didn't work bled all the fluid out and refilled again but still not working and i'm out of ideas? Also what a stupid place to put that bleed nipple, every video I've watched has an easy access one not a stupid angled one.... Also i need to replace the drain plug as the allen thread has rounded, can i get a generic one from anywhere (UK) and what size is it as the parts list doesnt state the size? Cheers
  6. Thanks mate On further inspection its another case of me making something far more complicated than it is
  7. I'm asking the question first before i attempt to open it up. Is it possible to adjust the rotation of the throttle so the housing with the wire can point in a different position. I'm thinking this has been done to my throttle already as the open and closed positions differ from the other bike i have and this one will clash with the brake adjuster if i put it in the position i need it. Currently the closed position lines up with the clip on the housing body (blue line) whereas i need it to be the open position lining up with the clip so the main part of the housing points down rather than being where it is clashing with the brake lever. I hope this makes sense, pics attached to try and help
  8. All sorted now The only thing i can think of is i didn't actually replicate the fault on the second bike i was checking the wrong things (i was full of a cold so thats my excuse). Anyway note for anyone else, try to buy the Leonelli Epure kill switch rather than the EM branded one as its £35 cheaper. I totally missed that splatshop had it in stock and ended up getting the EM one from inch perfect (even though they are the same thing). That would be my only gripe about EM is finding parts or at least information on parts you can use, if it wasnt for Konrads site and here i'd have been totally screwed
  9. Konrad i cant thank you enough mate. I just connected the kill switch from bike 2 to bike 1 and its worked! The LED map light still doesnt come on when you power the bike on (i cant remember if it did before or not) but once you attach the magnet it does so i'm happy with that, new kill switch over controller saves my pocket. Thanks again for the help and also all the info on your website mate
  10. Just checked and all fuses are fine - Absolutely stumped Everything in blue is working but nothing past that so could a faulty map switch, LED or throttle cause the controller to not get power?
  11. Haha yeah i'm not touching anything until tomorrow now with fresh eyes and head. No, i havent, My logic is saying it has to be something like that or something tripped by a bad signal? due to the fault being replicated on 2 bikes. I noticed on the parts diagram theres a 2A fuse also so i'll check that too
  12. Hi mate, The light doesnt go white, there isnt any power at all to the Map light or switch from what i can see since i returned home. My sons bike worked fine until i tried connecting his map switch/light/throttle to the ports on mine (one by one) Also no light on the controller, i found the led its opposite the Silixcon sticker but nothing when powered on, still getting power to the kill switch/battery indicator but i saw from your wiring diagram they dont go through the controller. Going off the day i'm having it wouldn't surprise me if I've somehow fried both bikes (managed to lock the keys in my van twice today after never doing it in 30 years)
  13. Me again! Ok todays problem is as follows: Went out riding and after about an hour the bike (Epure race 2021) kept dropping the map intermittently and returning to the clear light. No rhyme or reason to it, sometimes up hill sometimes down. Messed about abit and i could replicate it when the handlebars went full lock either way so faulty wire i thought, easy fix, trace the wire and sort it. Got home, washed the bike, removed the fairing but now no power at all going to the map light (still power to the kill switch). My son has the same bike so i thought i'll try plugging in his map switch/map light but still nothing. Then i tried it with the throttle and now 2 bikes wont work!?!?!? So i guess my question is does anyone know a good scrap man lol no really, could it be a short in the throttle/Map switch/Led doing this and could it kill the controller? I'd much rather be able to sort this myself before going to the experts but i'm at a loss with it happening now on the second bike. Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope!!!
  14. Alan, you are a legend mate, thanks for all the info, explains a lot. Half the battle is knowing what the parts are on the EM as the parts list just gives codes that dont come up with anything when you search them. Have just found the Jitsie spacers so i'll grab some and give them a try first.
