The second time out on my 2003 sherco 250cc and she wont start. I jammed my wee finger on the edge of the shed door when I was putting her away last time out. So I blame this for forgeting to turn off my fuel. Does anyone think this could be the reason she wont start. She did go for a few seconds and then nothing. What might I need to do? Jump starting would be an option tomorrow when it gets light. If so what gear should I use. Thanks in advance folks.

Hi There Guys. I purchased this morning a Sherco 2003 250cc trails bike. I have ridden Yamaha Ty's for years and have finally saved up my £1000 to buy a proper modern one. Ok so you might not think an 11 year old bike is all that modern but it's relative. I have a couple of questions though. Semi synthetic oil or fully synthetic 2 stroke oil? What is the best brand of 2 stroke oil? Is the headlight worth while wiring up somehow? Is there a workshop manual available? What is the maintenance schedule for this bike? Does anyone else have one and what do they think? OK 6 questions then. Would be good to hear your opinions though. Thanks in advance.
