ageing

hello. ageing here. i've had bikes since i was 14 when i would buy anything with an engine and two wheels. always loved bikes but 99% of my riding has been on the road. i have a few lying around but mostly ride an old guzzi 1000 which i've had for 20yrs and i use a honda cb250rs which has an ft500 engine, good fun. recently i was given an old xl185 with a honda cg motor which i've been using to mess about in the woods on my mates farm, he has a fantic twinshock i think it's a 450 which i believe is 212cc. both of us are complete novices off road but we are getting better with practice, hopefully the jcm 243 i've just bought will be a bit easier to ride as it's set up better than the old honda. we are hoping to get enough practice in to enter a trials event, i just hope they do'nt laugh at my attempts. ps, i'm 51, can you teach an old git new tricks? thanks for looking, all the best, ageing.
