does anyone khow some basic settings for the carb and what jets are best, just to give me somewhere to start from, its got a 40 and 140 jets in. plus are they better run on super unleaded or not, how long is it before petrol goes off.

i run with a 36 pilot, 145 main, 21mm float height, air screw 1 1/4 turns out, needle clip

on the center grouve, b6es plug and 50 to 1 mix , any doubt over the fuel replace it ,

try the bike out after each step you take and if any step dosent work go back to standard,

also make sure the air filter is dry [ no oil ] and you blow the carb out with a air line first.
