Montesa 315r Floats

Featured Replies

hi,

cleaned the carb today and not sure which way the floats go in?

the pins at the top or bottom?

if i have put them in the wrong way would i have damaged anything???

Cheers

james

Pins at the bottom or you'll get no fuel into the carb.

can't damage owt though because all that's happening is that the float jet won't let fuel into the carb

Hi not sure which way the pins go without looking (bottom i think though), but i think one end is domed and this goes at the top. It wont do any damage, it just means that bike wont start as it shuts off the fuel to the float (as i have found out before!)

sorry didnt see other reply! :)
