43 Rear Sprocket - Now Chain Wont Fit

Featured Replies

I have just put a 43 tooth rear sprocket on my 4RT and now the chain is a fraction too short. Looks like i need a half link. Is this right? Has this happened to anyone else?

How do you fit a half link? Will i need a special tool?

On your swinging arm there are 2 x small allen bolts by the chain adjuster cam.

If they are in the rear threaded hole, remove and put in the next hole along. This will enable the the spindle to move further forward and your chain might fit

Hope this helps..................Got a 43 on mine and it is perfect slows it down quite a bit, but still do 95% of sections in FIRST :D:o

when i fitted my 43t sprocket i also put on a 520 chain which was 101 links and cost about
