September 19, 200619 yr Author Well worth the money I recon, will have to save for the hangers as well but these are virtually bend proof so in the long run should be cheaper than buying lots of standard pegs. Gives better balance on the bike and dont seem to clog up as much either
September 19, 200619 yr Author Cheers for that Ferret, yer a nice little santa prezzie sorted I think, will be writing his letter early this year
September 19, 200619 yr they are just great and they also spark when you bash them into rocks (COOL) or what. ive had my pegs on for over 12 months now and still like brand new also got the hangers which are a work of art. standard hangers for the beta are CRAP and made out of toffee !!!! i broke one after about 2 weeks of having the bike, there is no clearence problems with the captive nut as its flush with the back of the hanger now. go and buy the set they are worth the money and you can always take them with you when you swap bikes
September 19, 200619 yr Author PHB, the standard hangers are soft and mine are begining to bend abit, will definatley be swapping the Raptors onto the new bike next year, these things will last for years
September 19, 200619 yr I've had some Raptor pegs for over a year now and they still look like new. I thought about getting the brackets but something has to give somewhere and I don't want it to be the frame
September 20, 200619 yr Just a thought..aren't the original hangers supposed to have a little 'give' in them so the impact doesn't knock a chunk out of that very expensive looking frame. Better to have a bent (temporarily) hanger than a cracked frame...... ..discuss! Bugger ...just read Kinells last post..didn't see it before...Great minds and all that.
