October 11, 200619 yr Does anyone know if the Gas Gas 50 can power a headlight? My son would like to ride in the evenings but with the nights drawing in he is very restricted in time. I'm not sure if the magnito provides a 6v or 12v supply capable of powering a standard GG head light. I have a spare one in the shed. If not has anyone fitted any after market light to this bike using the bikes own power. A wiring diagram would be helpfull too.
October 11, 200619 yr you can find wiring diagrams for most gasgas's on http://www.gasgasuk.com or http://www.trialspartsusa.com watch out there is usually more than one dia. for each model hope this helps
October 11, 200619 yr Author The wiring diagram is only half the battle but thanks I've got it from the gg USA site. It doesn't give power ratings on the magnito, rectifier or regulator. I'm worried that I'll blow the rectifier and or regultor if I just try. If I can get confirmation that the magneto produces enough power I can always upgrade the rectifier and regulator or add additional ones.
