October 18, 200619 yr Hey Guys: I'm looking at a 315R as the bike to get back into the sport on.... I'm not too fussed on the bike year at the moment - unless somebody can give me any pointers on a good year to look at? From what I've seen - it looks like the head angle may have got a little slacker from 2002 onwards?...is this correct? If so - are the earlier bikes a little more trick to ride? Any advice/chat on what to consider/year on year developments would be appreciated.... Cheers.... ...if anybody knows any good bikes available too.....?
October 19, 200619 yr Not sure what slacker means, but the 2002-04 had the steepest (most vertical) head angle and the 99 had the most rake!
October 19, 200619 yr Had a 99 and an 03 315. The 03 was a vast improvement in the carburetion stakes, I would advise an 03 or 04.These, imo are the best model to go for
