Today my 4rt would only select 1st gear and neutral in mid trial.When i got back to the pits i tried to adjust the clutch but made no difference,and is now stuck in 1st.The gear lever moves up and down no problem.Does anyone have any advice?The bike is only three months old.

You've obviously hit the gear lever hard on something & you've broke it! Costs just over a 100 quid to fix at Sandifords.

Do you mean something inside the gearbox?And whats involed with the repair?And yes it was after a rough beck section.

That's the one, you've bust something inside the gearbox.

Yes this does happen on the 4rt's i have repaired them beforee.

What you have done is broken the end off the selector shaft, it

is not as bad as it sounds ! Parts are about thirty five pounds

Yes doogle but don't forget the broken rear brake caliper

bracket i welded and straightened out the rear disc that was

buckled and bled the brakes stripped out the rear caliper.

Now that was what i call mates rates!

Oh yeah, I forgot about the other minor faults that I caused during that weekend.
