Fuel Pipe

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me the diameter of fuel pipe. Is it the same for all makes and model or does it vary??

Just put some new neoprene stuff on the Beta and it is 6mm would guess it too be a standard size throughout

In US we have a yellow green material called Tygon, I think St Gerbain plastics?

Awesome fuel line, can see air bubbles, highly cehmical and heat resistant.

Expensive, well worth themoney if you can find it.

Just had a look and found said Tygon Here and it is definatley expensive! especially when you compare it too the Neoprene stuff I recently bought Here which is also said too withstand a high range of temps and last a fair time

ouch, even more expensive over there.

For 3/16 to 1/4 id, about 6 mm, cost me about 2 to 3 $USD per foot. appears double that price or more there.

might be cause to rethink my statement, but here, I spend the money once, lasts for at least 10 years, even in snowmobile and chainsaw applications.

I guess bottom line is watch the lines and change often, especially easy to do at the prices you paid for the neoprene.

The Tygon(3/16) is flexable enough to withstand stretching over a 1/4in inline filter without splitting.

Been intending to send R2 a bit to try, will do soon.

I can get it at a reasonable price. :hyper:

I find the standard black rubbery stuff performs well, No leaks, flows well but I still struggle with 4 foot rock steps though!

I only put the new pipe on mine cause I needed too change the fuel filter (desperatley!) And the neoprene stuff was not only cheap and come in a decent length (not 10 foot lengths!) but it is also supposed to be a good long lasting rubber :hyper:

now I know what the research was for! more accessories But one question could someone tell me what the actual size of these fuel filters are? I nearly bought one for the Beta from elsewere before they were available through Trialcast but just thought they could be a little bulky?

The body is 37mm long, excluding tails. At its widest, the diameter is 27mm. Hope this helps.
