Advice 315 98/99

Featured Replies

Any advice appreciated. A friend of mine bought this bike to start trials and I agreed to sort it for him. It needs a few obvious jobs doing and it'll have a stripdown and general overhaul but is there anything that those 'in the know' can tell me about this bike - quirks, upgrades etc.

Thanks in advance.

Jim

Yes a good upgrade to do on the monts is to fit honda cr 250 clutch

plates friction one's that is, this stops the clutch dragging and it then

will go into neutral nicely. also check's to do are inspect the dog bone

shaped rear suspension linkage as these have a tendancy to oval

the holes this in turn stops the seals from doing there job, and

hey presto your suspension seizes up!By the way HAVEN TRIALSPORT

sell the clutch parts. also the air holes in the rear mudguard helps

from the holes having mesh fitting to them from the inside, this will

stop all the mud from packing down the air holes and blocking them.

What year CR250 clutch plates fit the '98 315 ?

Not sure what year cr plates come from but if you call HAVEN'S they will tell you

there number is 01469 532600 uk land line number .
