November 12, 200619 yr i've noticed the footpegs on my 06 are gradually getting more and more beat up and i was just wondering if anyone out there knows of aftermarket gaurds that you can buy so you don't bend and smash up your peg mounts, or if anyones made some?
November 16, 200619 yr Author ok i know im not the only one with this problem but no one can say they've ever tried to do anything about it? well if thats the case i might have to be the first one
November 16, 200619 yr NYL managed to knock one of his off completley at Bracken Rocks so am familiar with the problem. Also believe that others have done it as well. There is not an easy solution as the peg mounts are welded to the frame and protecting them could make the bike "ground" easily. Just find a good local welder seems to be the solution.
