03 rev 3 280- started fine, ran for a couple minutes then died,no spark, tried new plug, still none Whassup? :)

    i had the same problem with my bike found out it was the kill switch wire was bare and touching the bars cutting the spark only other simple thing i can think of is the spark plug cap is not on the ht lead properly
