Practice Rock

Featured Replies

Non trials rider wondering if the ledge/rock in the following pics would make a good practice rock. It is actually in the middle of a 120 unit apartment complex that i run. I also live on site and keep my bikes on site. The one thing i wonder about is I would have to be nice to the lawn areas around the ledge. I'm wondering how the grass might stand up or if i'd get bored because i would have to be easy on the grass and couldn't really utilize the area.

2nd pic is a little bigger to get a better idea of the rock

A little over exposed but the face on this side is about 2 foot sheer. Total height of rock is about 3 1/2 maybe 4 foot from the pavement

Rock has several 1 to 2.5 foot sheer faces. Good practice for steps!!

Looks like a pretty good paractice rock for my 10yr old son on his TY80. :D

But too small for my 12yr old on my old Cota 123

Any rocks a good practice rock you just have to shorten your run up to match your ability, i'd be more concerned about upsetting the neighbours using those rock though, not a good image for the sport!!!!!!
