March 24, 200422 yr Good point, it shows great difference on how popular trials is, and how it is celebrated compared to the UK. Although, I'd imagine if someone from where I lived (hopefully me ) won anything to Raga's accomplishments, that it wouldn't go unadvertised, and you would be seen as a hero to most of the kids and adults. I live were there is quiet a few (may not be famous to you lot) names in motorcycling, such as Kirean Clarke and Ron (and Leon) Haslem, and these names are well celebrated over here, with many people owning t-shirts, caps and other stuff along that line. To say it is only a small town (very small) the names are known well, even by people not into motorcyling!
