Does anyone know why the World Championship guys refer to their events as 'races'?

I could understand the 'race' term being used in Time and Observation trials. + :thumbup:

    Probably because they are not very good at speaking english, the brits do this because it's mainly Spanish people interviewing them and therefore making it easier for foreign people to understand.
