January 4, 200719 yr I have an 07 250 Beta, Can any body tell me which way do I need to turn the mixture screw to make it run a little bit leaner? Thanks Tone
January 4, 200719 yr Your Beta has an air screw turning the screw out (counterclock wise) gives it more air to make it leaner.
January 5, 200719 yr Tone, if the air screw isnt enough drop the needle a notch or get the jet kit I didn't pay muc attenttion to the needle when I took my crab out but I did remove it from the top of the carb. I seem to recall it looked like it could not be adjusted as it was set in one position?
January 5, 200719 yr Boofont, not had an 07 carb to bits but assuming its the same as the 06 the needle will be set in the middle notch, if you drop the needle this will lean the mix. There should be 5 notches as standard on the needle move the circlip up a notch so it drops the needle further into the carb. Keep a good look on the plug first time out to make sure its not running to weak at this setting though, should nt do though.
