Trials In The Indy

Featured Replies

Now that surprised me, flipping through the sports pages of todays Independent I find a two page full colour trials photo. Is that a first?

Wrongly captioned as J.Cowley on a Beta, its really John Lee on a Sherco as their web page correctly identifies. Looks like he's landed heavily in the stream as the suspensions well compressed.

No results or report of course, but its a start.

Could this be inspiration for trials snappers ? I wonder what the Indy pays for such a smudge?

Also pictured is Steve Workman on a Mont.

I stand corrected!

I see the papers so geared up for trials/motorcycling that these are listed under cycling images...

apaprently the Indy has a thing of putting in great photos of boscure sport, which while they may not cover normally they want to print - part of them being the indy i think. they taken a few at our natiaonl MX and put a two page coulour spread of it - really impressive.

see http://3276.e-printphoto.co.uk/independent...amp;action=view - from a phtography point of view its not the standard type of shot MX photogrpahers take
