Wondering what grade plug everyone uses, i have a 03 montesa and the manual says to use a 6, but in the past ive been using anything from a 6 to a 9? For some reason a 6 sounds a bit soft??????

Monty Trials, the number applies to the heat rating of the plug.

The best plug IMO is the Iridium BPR6EIX, these are available here;

I am a mechanic, lol i know about plugs, what I mean is that a grade 6 sounds a bit low I would of thought a 7/8 would be a better heat grade than a 6

The smaller number is a hotter plug.
