January 18, 200719 yr I could not help but check what (watts) my original lamp was. Surprised to find a 5 watt peanut. With elimination of the stop lamp and tail lamp, you should be able to increase that to 10 watts, possibly even a halogen lamp, without killing the ignition when you turn the light on! Best I can tell, there is no separate lighting coil on this setup, one power source runs everything!
January 19, 200719 yr Found this tidbit. You could run 2, 6V/ 5W halogen lamps in series, or 1, 12V 10W! Or perhaps 2, 12V 5W in parallel!
