February 6, 200719 yr Anyone know where to get a chain guide for a front sprocket/engine case quickly? tried *&* but sold out
February 6, 200719 yr why not try Munch who posts on TC for 4rt stuff? Micky Gallagher - M Sport in Stevenage - dealer for all brands of bikes & bits - 01438 742724.
February 6, 200719 yr I guess you mean the V-Mar chain guard. If so you have to be careful which chain you use as the guard fits very close to the sprocket. The standard chain is fine but if you add a half link it will foul and dig a small groove in the guard. RK standard and Renthal R1 chains will not fit... I now have a DID ERT2 on the self which looks the same size as original but I haven't fitted it yet. Edited February 6, 200719 yr by fantic156
February 6, 200719 yr Renthal R1 chains will not fit... I have to disagree, I'm running a Renthal R1 with a V-mar guard fitted with no problems. It did "bed" in a little but there was enough tolerance in the bolt holes to stop it fouling the chain. Edited February 6, 200719 yr by Hughesy
February 6, 200719 yr Just go to the V-mar website and buy one from the on line store, Vince is happy to ship to the UK without charging extra, you pay by paypal and you normally get them in 5-7 days.
February 6, 200719 yr Author Thanks for the quick info guys try M sport Perce and then V-Mar direct if no joy, no stock anywhere at the moment in the UK

Inspired to try again I've just been in the garage and Hughsey is right, the renthal chain will fit. I just didn't try hard enough the first time. Edited February 6, 200719 yr by fantic156
